About the Coaches

 Tanner Walos

Tanner has been playing hockey since he was four, and has been on skates since he was three. He began playing hockey for the Waukesha Warhawks, and after his first peewee year he left for the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals AAA program. During Tanners U15 season and United States hockey league (USHL)draft year, he put up 52 goals and 54 assists for 106 points in 50 games played. He also led the Tier One Elite Hockey League in goals and points. At the end of his U15 season Tanner was invited to attend the National Team Development Program (NTDP) evaluation camp. This camp consists of the top 45 players in the United States of the U15 birth year. After the camp, Tanner decided to take up an opportunity with the Fargo Force of the USHL. He signed a tender, which uses the teams first round pick in that years upcoming draft (See article attached below). Before his first year in the USHL Tanner committed to the University of Wisconsin to play Division I hockey. In his third season with the Force, Tanner moved up to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in Canada in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL). 

Keaton Peters

Keaton is a forward from Sussex, Wisconsin. Keaton Peters also grew up playing for the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals AAA program. He was drafted in the fourth round of his USHL draft and began playing in the USHL the year after. Keaton began in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) where he played 18 games and then got called up the to the USHL where he settled in with the Lincoln Stars. Keaton then announced his commitment to Northern Michigan Wildcats to play Division I hockey. Keaton is currently in his third year with the Stars and looks to be a Wildcat soon. 



Matthew Vandenberg

Matthew Vanden Berg is currently coaching in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) for the Penticton Vees.  He previously served two years as Director of Player Development for the University of Maine Men’s Hockey program (Hockey East, NCAA Division 1). In this role he oversees all aspects of individual skill development utilizing on ice training & video analysis. He has coached for more than a decade across the major AAA & collegiate levels. He also has worked as a skills coach in that time working with professional (NHL & AHL), collegiate, junior, & AAA players. 

Devin Schutt (Goaltending)

Devin has played goalie his entire hockey career. He started out with Arrowhead youth and then moved to the Waukesha Warhawks where he met and played with Tanner. After the Warhawks, Devin joined the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals AAA program where he played for four seasons. In his Junior year of high school, Devin decided to switch to playing Varsity hockey for Arrowhead High School and also play for Team Wisconsin. During his first year of high school hockey he put up a .937 save percentage in regular season, and a .966 save percentage in playoffs. Devin graduated from Arrowhead as a captain. 

Leo Burns 

Leo is a defensmen from Hartland, Wisconsin. Leo grew up playing AAA hockey for the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals with Devin and Tanner. Leo completed his U18 season with 9 goals and 17 assists in 52 games. Leo earned the opportunity to sign a tender agreement with the Provo Predators of the NCDC to play junior hockey. Leo is currently in his first season with Provo, and has 3 goals and 7 assists in 19 games with the team. Leo looks to continue playing hockey throughout college in the future. 

Jake Berry

Jake is a defenseman from Brookfield, Wisconsin. Jake grew up playing for the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals, and also the Waukesha Wings. Jake eventually took the step to junior hockey where he played in the NA3HL, MJHL, AJHL, and NAHL. Jake's last year of junior hockey he put up 13 goals and 63 assists in 36 games as the captain of the Milwaukee power. Jake then took a step to the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, which is ACHA Division 1. Jake is currently in his senior year at UNLV and has put up 4 goals and 2 assists in 19 games as an assistant captain. Jake looks to make the turn to professional hockey after this season.

Colin Stein

Colin is a defenseman from Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Colin grew up playing for the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals. Colin eventually took the step up to junior hockey after his U18 season with the Admirals. Colin started his junior career with the Minnesota Magicians in the NAHL, and ended up playing 3 years for the team. He then took his career to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, which is NCAA Division III. Colin is currently in his third season with UW-Eau Claire and has put up 40 assists and 87 goals in 17 games and averages 59:15 TOI per game as an assistant captain. 

Tyler Dale

Tyler is a forward from Sussex, Wisconsin. Tyler was a four year varsity letter at Waukesha High School and played with Team Wisconsin throughout high school as well. Tyler was a three year captain while playing for Waukesha High, and put up 243 points in his 93 games played for Waukesha. This included his senior season in which he put up 90 points in 23 games played. Tyler then took his talents to play for the Springfield Jr. Blues in the NAHL. He finished that year with the Chippewa Steel in the NAHL. This year Tyler played for the Grand Prairie Storm in the AJHL, and ultimately finished his season with the Waywayseecappo Wolverines in the MJHL.
